Pfeiffer Garden August 3, 2007

Robin Pfeiffer's garden is on a modest lot in Bend's "banana belt," an older neighorhood near downtown. When she bought the home about four years ago there was nothing but windswept bare ground under the Ponderosa Pines. She's created a private sanctuary in the back yard and is growing numerous Japanese Maples, which are challenging in Bend's climate.
